There is a view that if you could explore deep down into the micro-cosm, going beyond molecules, inside the atoms, and into the indivdual parts that make up the atoms, and then still further until you reach the most basic 'stuff ' that exists, you would find little tiny Budhas sitting in the lotus position with pure light shinning from every pore of their bodies.
Then there is another view that if you travel far enough out into space, way beyond our galaxy, way past all the known galaxies, millions of light-years from here, way out into the void beyond the farthest distance it is possile to imagine, and you look back, you will see a gigantic Budha sitting in the lotus position, with all the stars making the pores of his body.
